Marco Polo's Main Achievement
Marco Polo's main achievement was his journey on the silk road with his father in 1271. Over his time on the silk road, he has traded and collected jewels, silk, and ivory. He spread China's creativity in the use of coal, money, and compasses to improve future exploration. Rustichello (Marco Polo's autobiography writer while they were in prison together.) wrote Marco Polo's journey and experience. This made Marco Polo famous for his engagements through China and Central Asia. He brought back many information and goods about China. This was very helpful for the Europeans, because in those days, no one knows a lot about Marco Polo and China. Marco Polo opened Europeans eyes that they could trade more things with the Far East.
